The seminar brings together representatives of performers' organisations, intergovernmental organisations for cultural and creative sectors, the European Commission and European Parliament, international institutions, government departments and other experts in intellectual property rights.

Since their introduction in European legislation almost two decades ago, how have performers' rights and their practical implementation progressed?
What challenges and policies dominate today's European IPR environment with respect to performers and their rights management organisations?
