The letter calls for fair remuneration for all rightholders, including performers. It reaffirms support for the objectives of the AI Act and urges policymakers to ensure the effective and meaningful implementation of a ‘healthy and sustainable licensing market’ that covers all equitable solutions, including a right to remuneration for recorded performances used for machine learning.
