FAIR INTERNET coalition statement to the Presidency proposals regarding articles 13-16 of the draft Directive on Copyright in the DSM
The partners of the FAIR INTERNET coalition have read with great attention the compromise proposals put forward by the Estonian Presidency regarding the draft Directive on Copyright in the Digital Single Market (dated 30 August 2017).
Fair Internet Coalition submits comments to EP Legal Affairs Committee
On 10 July 2017, the Fair Internet Coalition submitted to the Members of the European Parliament’s Legal Affairs Committee its comments to amendments tabled to the Draft Report On The Proposed Directive On Copyright In The Digital Single Market.
On 2 May 2017, FIM with the support of WIPO held a Side Event in Geneva on the occasion of the 34th WIPO Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights, in which AEPO-ARTIS particpated along with other members of the FAIR INTERNET campaign.
National Media Briefing: Belgium and the Netherlands
On 28 March 2017, the partners in the FAIR INTERNET Campaign with the support of AEPO-ARTIS members Playright and NORMA held a Press Briefing at the Silken Berlaymont Hotel in Brussels, targeting the Belgian and Dutch media.
FAIR INTERNET Coalition statement to European Parliament
On 11 January 2017, the FAIR INTERNET Coalition released a press statement calling on MEPs to make the necessary amendments to the draft Directive on Copyright in the Digital Single Market in order to rebalance copyright and guarantee a fair remuneration from streaming and download services.
On 5 December 2016, AEPO-ARTIS and key representatives of the FAIR INTERNET campaign, gathered at the Solvay Library in Brussels, to take stock of the Commission’s draft Directive on Copyright with European Commission officials, Members of the European Parliament and Member States’ representatives.
